The Chair

President or ‘Voorzitter’ of DutchSE is the leader of the pack, responsible for keeping the helicopter view during the year. You care for your team by checking in with them, you lead discussions to a fruitful outcome and help your board get the best out of themselves. As Chair, you prepare and coordinate the board meetings and actively support your team. You are a people’s person with great management and communication skills with a passion for entrepreneurship.

Financial Director

The Financial Director or Treasurer of DutchSE is the ‘head chef’ of bookkeeping and funds acquisition. This crucial job is what keeps DutchSE and its events running by making sure we have enough resources to do what we do best: creating a close knitted student entrepreneurship ecosystem. As the Financial Director, you will be giving the team finance updates, will contact DutchSE partners to discuss funding possibilities and will be in charge of getting DutchSE the subsidies it needs. You are precise, ambitious and up for the challenge of raising as many funds as you can in your year at DutchSE.

Program Director

The Program Director at DutchSE is the part of the glue that holds the DutchSE community together. This job entails connecting the local entrepreneurship organisations that are part of the DutchSE network and organising DutchSE events and activities for these organisations and partners. As the Program Director, you check-in with the local organisations, get them excited to collaborate with each other, join the DutchSE events and participate actively in the ecosystem. You are a people’s person with great management skills, genuinely invested in helping others and preferably but not necessarily have been active in one of the local organisations in DutchSE’s ecosystem.

External Relations Director

The External Relations Director is working to build and maintain partnerships between DutchSE and national and international organisations. This job includes lobbying on national issues for student entrepreneurs such as intellectual property rights and representing the Netherlands on a European level. As the External Relations Director you aim to create new partnerships, build on existing ones and are always on the lookout for new connections. You are a strong communicator in English and possibly Dutch, you are eager to expand your network and like to stay up to date on the latest (Dutch) news to scout for opportunities.

Marketing Director & Secretary

The Marketing Director & Secretary of DutchSE is in charge of the online growth and brand awareness of DutchSE. Your job is what makes students find us with their pressing questions and requests that help us improve the Dutch student entrepreneurship ecosystem. As the Marketing Director and Secretary, you create the marketing plan for DutchSE, help organising our internal organisation and set goals for the board to grow online. You are creative and a writing talent, interested in the way social media works and nicely organised.
